The ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group (APG), an informal group of quality management system experts, auditors and practitioners drawn from IAF and ISO/TC 176, has revised its paper ‘ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group Guidance on: Auditing Competence’.
Competence is part of the backbone of any organization. The APG paper has been revised to provide an expanded view in relation to competence requirements throughout the entire body of ISO 9001 requirements.
paper covers relevant ISO 9001 requirements which deal directly with competences and provides information on other relevant standards that auditors might consider in developing their own competence.
