The theme for 2024, “Our Shared Vision for a Better World“, highlights how standards can support the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a specific focus on SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. This year, the spotlight is on how standards drive innovation and sustainability, particularly through fostering global collaboration in the age of artificial intelligence (AI).
